Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to bookings made directly with Schellerup ApS either through online booking or via telephone, e-mail or personal contact. 

Direct booking through telephone, mail or personal inquiry.

Bookings made through email, telephone or personal contact are paid in connection with the booking. You will receive a confirmation on email containing an invoice for payment. When the amount has been paid, your booking is confirmed.

Cancellation policy for accommodation

Please note that cancellations or changes to accommodation(s), stay, events (including saunagus) must be made in writing (via e-mail) 48 hours before arrival.

The following applies to direct bookings: 

  • Du kan annullere dit ophold gebyrfrit, indtil 14 dage før check-in (kl. 12.00)
  • Your stay is confirmed by paying a deposit or by other agreement.
  • In case of no-show, 100% of the price for the entire service/stay will be charged
  • If you book an event or stay that is non-refundable, it will not be possible to get any refund for the service/stay efter the time of booking/confirmation

If the booking was made through another platform (e.g. Booking.com), the booking will be subject to the separate applicable rules for cancellation/change for the platform where the booking was made.

The rules also apply if the stay is booked 14 days or less before arrival.

Cancellation policy for events

Cancellation or reduction of participants for the booked event must be done in writing (through e-mail) no later than 4 weeks before arrival.

After this, a maximum of 50% of the event price will be refunded. Please note that in order to cancel the maximum of 50%, the cancellation must be made as below:

  • At 30 - 20 days before the arrangement/event you will be charged 50% of the total price the event. The remaining 50% will be refunded.
  • If there are less than 20 days to the event, the full amount of the event will be charged, and no refund will be offered.
  • In the event of a no-show, late arrival, early departure or later cancellation or reduction, Schellerup ApS is entitled to compensation corresponding to the full price of the late canceled services ordered. Schellerup ApS will of course try to resell any late canceled services. In the event that it is not possible to resell the services at the same price, Schellerup ApS reserves the right to send an invoice for the price difference of the originally ordered services according to this booking.

Conferences and meetings

If the conference/course is canceled later than 1 month before the event, Schellerup ApS is entitled to compensation for any loss – 75% of the agreed event price all inclusive – if the premises cannot be reached rented out to the other party. 

In case of cancellation later than 14 days before the event, the customer is obliged to pay the entire event. 

Strike, lockout, fire damage or similar damage, reductions in deliveries as well as similar unforeseeable events that are beyond Schellerup ApS's control, Schellerup ApS reserves the right to terminate the agreement without compensation of any kind. Reservations are usually made in relation to government intervention in the "hotel industry", such as tax changes or similar that entitle us to corresponding price increases.

Force majeure

If the stay is prevented due to force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, acts of war, epidemic, pandemic, riots and the like), Schellerup ApS is not liable for compensation for interrupted or uncompleted stays and events.

Security deposit

Schellerup ApS reserves the right to charge a deposit of 100% of the order sum for reservations. The deposit is due when the reservation is made. If the deposit is not paid on time, the reservation will be cancelled.
