Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to bookings made directly with Schellerup ApS either through online booking or via telephone, e-mail or personal contact. 

Booking Direct through website, phone, email or personal contact:

Bookings made through our website, email, telephone or personal contact are paid in connection with the booking. You will receive a confirmation on email containing an invoice for payment. When the amount has been paid, your booking is confirmed.

Cancellation policy for accommodation

Please note that cancellations or changes to accommodation(s), stay, events (including saunagus) must be made in writing (via e-mail) 48 hours before arrival.

The following applies to direct bookings: 

• You can cancel your stay without any penalty up to 14 days before check-in (12.00 noon)
• If you cancel your stay less than 14 days before check-in, the entire price of the stay will be charged without the possibility of a refund.
• Your stay is confirmed by paying a deposit or by other agreement.
• In case of no-show, 100% of the price for the entire service/stay will be charged
• If you book an event or stay that is non-refundable, it will not be possible to get any refund for the service/stay efter the time of booking/confirmation

If the booking was made through another platform (e.g. Booking.com), the booking will be subject to the separate applicable rules for cancellation/change for the platform where the booking was made.

The rules also apply if the stay is booked 14 days or less before arrival.

Afbestillingsregler for events samt ophold i forbindelse med messer i MCH og Herning (og omegn):

Afbestilling eller reducering af deltagende personer til booket ophold og/eller event skal ske skriftligt (via e-mail) senest 4 uger før ankomst.

Herefter kan maksimalt 50% af det endeligt bestilte ophold/event afbestilles. Vær opmærksom på, at for at afbestille de maksimale 50%, skal afbestillingen foretages som nedenstående:

• Ved 30 – 20 dage før opholdet/eventet kan der frit annulleres op til 50% af det endeligt bestilte arrangement.
• Er der under 20 dage til opholdet/eventet, så der ikke længere annulleres eller foretages ændringer i bookingen
• Ved no-show, forsinket ankomst, tidlig afrejse eller senere afbestilling eller reducering har Schellerup ApS krav på en erstatning svarende til den fulde pris på de for sent afbestilte ydelser i det endeligt bestilte arrangement eller ophold. Schellerup ApS vil naturligvis prøve at gensælge eventuelt for sent annullerede ydelser. I tilfælde af at det ikke er muligt at gensælge ydelserne til samme pris, forbeholder Schellerup ApS sig ret til at fremsende en faktura for prisforskellen på de oprindeligt bestilte ophold/ydelser ifølge denne booking.

Conferences and meetings

If the conference/course is canceled later than 1 month before the event, Schellerup ApS is entitled to compensation for any loss – 75% of the agreed event price all inclusive – if the premises cannot be reached rented out to the other party. 

In case of cancellation later than 14 days before the event, the customer is obliged to pay the entire event. 

Strike, lockout, fire damage or similar damage, reductions in deliveries as well as similar unforeseeable events that are beyond Schellerup ApS's control, Schellerup ApS reserves the right to terminate the agreement without compensation of any kind. Reservations are usually made in relation to government intervention in the "hotel industry", such as tax changes or similar that entitle us to corresponding price increases.

Force majeure

If the stay is prevented due to force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, acts of war, epidemic, pandemic, riots and the like), Schellerup ApS is not liable for compensation for interrupted or uncompleted stays and events.

Security deposit

Schellerup ApS reserves the right to charge a deposit of 100% of the order sum for reservations. The deposit is due when the reservation is made. If the deposit is not paid on time, the reservation will be cancelled.
